Robot & Warehouse Simulation Platform
GreyOrange2026Architect · Technical LeadProduction
Enabling the design, validation, and optimisation of warehouse automation solutions through virtual simulation of robots, warehouse infrastructure, and operational workflows.
Designing and deploying warehouse automation solutions is both time-consuming and operationally complex. Testing new workflows, validating business rules, or introducing additional robots directly in a live warehouse can be expensive, disruptive, and difficult to repeat consistently.
The Robot & Warehouse Simulation Platform was developed to provide a virtual environment for modelling warehouse operations before physical deployment. By simulating robots, warehouse layouts, operational workflows, and business scenarios, the platform enables engineering teams to validate system behaviour, evaluate operational strategies, and identify potential issues early in the project lifecycle.
As part of the engineering leadership team, I contributed to the design and development of the simulation platform to support product engineering, customer solution validation, and feature verification. The platform became an important tool for accelerating development, improving solution quality, reducing deployment risks, and enabling more predictable customer implementations.
By providing a realistic representation of warehouse operations, the simulation platform helped engineering teams build confidence in new capabilities while allowing customers to evaluate automation strategies before introducing changes into production environments.
